Meet Lesley D. Flanagan

Lesley D. Flanagan is the Master Extensionist and Salon Owner at Salon 1827 and a business coach and educator dedicated to elevating the hair industry. With over two decades of experience, she has built a reputation for offering luxury hair extension solutions and helping stylists refine their craft, attract high-end clients, and build sustainable, six-figure businesses.

Since beginning her career, Lesley has been passionate about the power of hair extensions and their ability to transform confidence and self-image. As the industry has evolved, so has she—earning 16 certifications and mastering various techniques, including hidden beaded rows, traditional beaded rows, keratin bonds, tape-in extensions, and many more. Whether getting a client to grow out a regrettable haircut, restoring fullness for postpartum moms, or creating seamless, natural volume, she tailors every method to fit her clients' lifestyles.

Beyond the chair, Lesley founded Sew Extra™ Coaching and co-creator of Local Luxury, an education platform designed to help stylists in smaller markets attract premium clients and refine their extension skills. She is also on a mission to change the public perception that hairstylists are uneducated by providing accessible, high-level education that proves this industry is built on skill, strategy, and expertise. Through one-on-one coaching, in-salon training, and online education, she teaches stylists how to master the art of luxury extensions, market themselves confidently, and create a business that feels aligned, profitable, and wildly successful.
